How can I maintain proper formatting in an html formatted email when forwarding it? Right now, when I forward a nicely formatted html email, it strips out a lot of the nice formatting, photos, tables, etc. It keeps some, text formatting, but pretty much guts the looks of the thing.

Use "Forward as Attachment."

I tried this several times. The messages "forwarded as attachment" by Entourage cannot be opened by received by users in other systems, for example in Gmail.

in Gmail.

It appears that the web interface to Gmail does not provide a way to view
the attachment as HTML. Viewing it via a true mail reader (such as Entourage
or Apple Mail) allows you view the HTML message as expected.

The web interface to Gmail appears to offer only two options: view as text
or download. As expected, view as text displays the HTML commands, not the
formatted message. If you download the attachment, you can then open the
attachment in Entourage or Mail. You can also change its suffix from .eml to
..html and open it in a browser.

I believe that Gmail's refusal to display the message properly is a flaw in
Gmail's interface. For example, the web interface for my @att.net address
offers a link to display the message as intended. I suggest you (or your
recipients) ask Gmail to provide a similar link. As a Gmail user, that's
what I just did.
