Hi.
I am running Outlook 2000 and XP-Pro I am responsible for sending a
newsletter to a large group of contacts in my Outlook contact list. I am
using a local email server on my system to bypass my ISP.
I copy/paste an HTML document authored in FrontPage 2002 for the newsletter.
When I send an individual email, the received HTML works fine...as does
sending to an Outlook distribution list -- it goes through the server and
ends up where it belongs in HTML! These tests use the local server.
***** However, when I use Outlook's email merge, the sever "acts normal"
with the notification popup boxes, but every email ends up in Outlook's
Outbox. When I hit Outlook's SEND button, they all go. When they are
received, it is text format...what happened?????? *****
(Please note: I am not running the security patch to avoid the hideous
Microsoft fix that causes me to have to qualify every outgoing email,,,know
what I mean?)
Than-Q, I am appreciative of your input,
