HTML and XLS etc formats missing from Get External Data

I have tried to use Get External Data -> Import. When I go to select "Files
of type:" I can see only: Microsoft Office Access, Windows SharePoint
Services, XML and ODBC. Many formats are missing. I had first MS Office XP,
which had same "feature" I tried to uninstall it and install again, but with
no help. After that I updated to MS Office 2003, but it did not help also. I
would be very pleased if you know correction information for this, so that I
would not need to reinstall whole computer...
