</html> disappears

I used a third party template to make the following page with FP2000.

http://kortmanagement.com

Then someone told me that the page couldn't be viewed on a Mac. Trying to
figure out why, I looked at the code and noticed there was no </html> at the
bottom. When I put it in manually, and saved it in FP, FP would delete it,
every time. I've made many hundreds of pages with FP over the years, and
have never seen this happen. I finally put the </html> in with Wordpad and
put it on the server with FTP, as there are no FP features used on this one
page web site. I thought the lack of the closing </html> could cause a
browser to balk at displaying the page.

But can anyone tell from glancing at the source code why FP would delete the
</html> line, or does anyone know what would cause this to happen?

The </html> is there now only because I took the page away from the clutches
of FP.

My FP2000 does add the </html> tag. No idea why you are having problems.

To prevent FP from changing you own added html code you should tweak the
following option:

Tools > Page options > HTML source > Preserve existing html
