HTML emails - images sending as attachments

I am creating an HTML email shot in FrontPage however when I send it the
images embedded in the eshot are appearing as attachments as well as
appearing correctly in the email. I have uploaded the emails to the internet
and that hasn't worked. I assume it has something to do with my Outlook but
I have no idea what!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated before I throw my computer out
of the window...

what path do you use for the images? how did you insert the HTML into
Outlook?

On Outlook 2003, I compose email message with embedded images and links.
When my recipient forwards the email, images are added as attachments, as
well as still showing in their original embedded form of the email.
This happens from time to time.
The following configurations were checked on Tool - Options:
Compose in HTML format
Include original text when forwarding
When sending, add properties to attachments (unchecked)

It may have something to do with the following action I sometimes take:
Use Microsoft Word to edit email messages the editor (unchecked) - Insert -
Item.

Please advise.

Did you read the web site I referenced? Frankly, I don't use HTML
messsages. I will not subject my recipients to that crap, especially with
Word as the editor, considering how much unnecessary junk Word adds. I
don't have the experience with HTML messages to assist.

Those are Word templates. They're in %AppData%\Microsoft\Templates. I
don't think they apply here, though.
