Hi, I edit a college website that allows clubs, departments, etc., to edit
their own subsites. FrontPage has been ideal for this because student workers
and staff could learn quickly how to design pages that were functional and
creative. They could keep their subsites on their hard drives and then
publish them whenever they updated without waiting for me.
I am (slowly) learning Expression Web, but our server (self-hosted) still
has FrontPage Extensions so we're OK with FrontPage for now. But further in
the future, what would be the best way to continue to offer subsites to clubs
and departments? I would like to continue to offer them (1) capability for
designing individualized subsites, (2) direct publishing/updating themselves,
and (3) ease of use and shallow learning curve.
All suggestions will be appreciated!
