HTML MAIL MERGE

I am using the mail merge function in word. I have three options to send
mails: as plain text, enclosures or html. The 2 first work but the html
option doesn't. It appears to be deactivated. Pls help!!!

Which version of Word/Office is this?

I suspect it may be a Windows version, in which case you have
accidentally landed in a group for Mac Office.

On Windows, Word will only do HTML format merges if you have the full
Outlook (not Outlook Express or Vista Windows Mail), and even then you
may encounter a problem where HTML mails "disappear"

If it is a Mac version, I know far less, but e.g. the HTML merge seems
to work OK here with Office 2008
