My wife was experiencing difficulty in that some of the recipients of mail
were unable to open attachments (winmail.dat). I thought I had resolved this
by ensuring all e-mails were sent in HTML format, not RTF. However, if she
picks multiple e-mail addresses from the list presented when you start typing
in the To: box, some of them will have Properties 'Send in RTF format'. If
she picks the same address to send to individually, HTML rules OK.
What are the rules regarding how Outlook decides what format is best to send
in?
Many thanks in advance.
