HTML to word tables

I am trying to write some software which exports html ready for word import
(using ActiveDocument.Subdocuments.AddFromFile)

Are there any guidelines for what formatting in a table will make it into
word 2000 or XP? Specifically having it take some notice of height and
width parameters ?
