I'm getting the HTTP 405 method not allowed, and am ready to call the ISP
because asking to have the FrontPage Extensions twice, after cleaning out FP
temp files and *.web files, has not fixed my problem. I suspect that the ISP
has had another blip, because getting into my account management module with
them isn't working - they don't recognize me. The latest error recorded in
System Information says, "You are not authorized to perform the current
operation" (thought I am the sole user and administrator on my standalone
computer). The "operation" was my attempting via my online account
management module to view the remote web.
My question: In Windows' System Information > Applications > Transport,
there are two entries and I would like clarification of the second entry.
1. Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Internet Publishing: True
2. Microsoft Office Internet Publishing: False
Does the False answer apply to FrontPage publishing? (FP 2000 is integrated
into my MS Office SP3)
Or does it mean something is turned off on my computer that I need to turn
back on? and if so, where do I turn it back on?
Web Client in Services is started and is on automatic.
