http mail store error

I am trying to set up outlook 2k with 2 hotmail
accounts. When I try to import the account details I get
an error: http mail store cannot be modified. I
uninstalled and reinstalled Oulook 2k. Now I get an
error that this mail store cannot be created.

There is no equivalent Outlook feature that is showing
for me to the OE wizard that allows an http email account
to be set up from scratch - only Pop3.

outlook 2000 does exactly support http - there are instructions at slipstick
on how to use it to read hotmail.
