http urls containing more th. one forw. slash in the middle of str

michele

If there is a link like

http://iip.softlab.de/hro_services//regulations/documents/BVs/BV_10_Rufbereitschaft.pdf

contained in a Outlook 2003 mail (note the two slashes (//) after the word
hro_services), on execution of the link in the mail it results in the IE 6.0
xpsp2 as only one slash (/) after the named word.

This causes the error message: Error 404--Not Found
We cannot change the double slashes as they are required by our intranet
Content management system.

Any ideas?

Kind regards,
Miguel Heinrich
