I have setup my Windows 2003 Small Business Server to run RPC over HTTP for
my remote Outlook 2003 users. I believe I have everything setup correctly,
but apparantly not. When I went thru the Connect to the internet wizard, I
got to the point where it wants the FQDN of the webserver to issue a
certificate. I have the FQDN of my internal SBS server entered (ie:
server1.mydomain.local). Is that what it should be ? Whenever I enter the url
to go to the remote home page, I get a certificate warning. It says " the
name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name on the
site". From what I understand, RPC over HTTP will not work if you get this
certificate warning. I know it must be something simple, but I'm not getting
anywhere. I'd love to get this going. Please Help !
