We have a department of 40 people that use a Word document that contains
hyperlinks to get to information they use to do their jobs. Most of the links
point to other Word documents, some point to web sites. The problem is one of
the sites they use just changed from http to https. When some users click the
link, it opens right up. When others click the link they get a "security
problem has occured" error and the page doesn't open.
I tried it from my PC (Word 2000 9.0.3821 SR-1) it works just fine. When I
try it from a PC with Word 2003 SP-3, I get the error message. If it was me,
I'd be ok with just adding the site to Favorites or using a desktop shortcut
but this department insists they need the link in Word to work properly for
everyone. Any suggestions? Thanks in adavance!!!
