Huge default.wti file in _vti_txt folder

I am using Front Page 2003 SP1

My host provider informs me that I have a default.wti file in the _vti_txt
folder which is 104 MB large. My whole website is under 65 MB. It does not
appear to be on my own computer, so I assume it is something generated on the
host site. Why is it so huge, and what can I do to make it smaller and use
less host space???

This should be the search index for the WAIS based FP Search bot. In other
words, it's the file that the FP Server Extensions use to scan when looking
up search results for the search bot. Essentially, it contains information
on the words in the site, and which files contain them.

Hope this helps,
