Hung Outlook Express

Help!
I have an unread message in my inbox that is hanging my Outlook Express
before I can even get to the Delete button to get rid of it! I have preview
on too, so it is trying to read that too, as well as connect to the internet
for any new emails. But as soon as it registers that email, it just hangs and
I can't do anything other than shut it down. Can I go to the file location
maybe and delete the email that way? Please can someone help?

Express is actually a separate program despite the similar name.
