Hyperlink Button text color issue

OK, this is wierd. I put 8 black hyperlink buttons on my Publisher document.
The text color chosen is "white" it shows up as blue. when I preview webpage
most of the text on the buttons are purple annd a little is white.
What am I doing wrong?

The purple is the visited status. All your links will turn purple once you
click on them and visit that page. Dump your internet temp files, and they
will all be blue again. And any new visitor to your site will only see blue
until they click on the links. You can change the purple to another color if
you want...go to custom color schemes.
