Dear Excel Group,
Yesterday, I created an Excel file with lots of hyperlinks to
different worksheets to assist navigation.
Today, when I click on the hyperlink I am advised 'Cannot open the
specified file'. When I try to make a new hyperlink, I am advised
'Microsoft Excel could not open this file or could not parse a file of
this type'.
I am completely bemused. The links all refer to the same workbook.
The same messages appear if I enable macros or disable macros. (It is
a bit strange that Excel asks me if I want to enable macros since I
created the document on my Mac yesterday, but that's probably a
different matter). I have not added protection to any of the cells. I
can't think of anything I have done since saving this document last
night to alter the
Has anyone had this problem before? Can anyone advise me or point to
someone (or some information source) where I might find a solution?
Many thanks for your consideration!
All the best,
Luke
