hyperlink clicking

I have some cells which contain a hyperlink. However, it's a little too
"sensitive". Can I set up the hyperlink so the user has to double click on it
to get to it?

No. That's up to the end user to determine that, not you. Assuming you are
talking about Excel, I find that if I click in a nearby cell without a
hyperlink, I can use the arrow keys to navigate to it without triggering the
link.
