Hyperlink Dialog Box

I have Outlook 2000 but have tested this on Outlook 2003 as well. If I
create a new message (using Word as my email editor) I can insert a hyperlink
(specifically, to a file) by pressing Ctrl-K and browsing for the file.
If I am editing an existing message, say, in my inbox, by using the
Edit>Edit Message command, the hyperlink dialog box does not allow for
browsing. Instead, I must type in the path for the file, or paste it in.
This is very time consuming.
Is there a solution to this somehow? I simply want to see the same window
pop up when editing a message.

No, the editor for received messages is limited. FYI Outlook 2007 will have
full editing options.
