Hyperlink Error - Copied File

I have a hyperlink set-up for a netwrok file. It works fine, but when the
file is copied the hyperlin chages to the folder that the file has been
copied to.

original link - L:\folder\folder\file
Changes to - C:\file

How can I get it to keep the original link?
