Hyperlink fade-out/fade-in change

How does one make the hyperlink change from one web page to another (within a
website) have a 1/4 to 1/2 second fade-out/fade-in effect rather then be
instantaneous? That is as the page on which one presses the hyperlink is
visually fading OUT the page one is hyperlinking to is fading IN and the
whole process takes about 1/4 to 1/2 second (or some time frame you can
choose).

I have seen this used to great effect on websites and would like to use it
but can't seem to find out how to make this happen. I have Frontpage 2003
and am new to it ; I would appreciate any response keeping that in mind.

It's called Transitions or Page Transitions, there is info in the Help files.

Be advised it only works in Internet Explorer.

It has nothing to do with the hyperlink. It is a
transition- and it only works in IE

Thanks Steve. I searched for it by calling it everything I could think of
except page and transition. Since I am at my office I wont be able to see
investigate your answer until this evening.

Thanks Mike. I will investigate this this evening. I don't know if you will
recieve this but if this delay is implimented on a web site looked at by
someone who is NOT using Internet Explorer for them does it simply revert to
an instantaneous switch from page to page or, for them, does it screw up the
entire site?

IIRC the site just loads, as the browser ignores the code it
don't use
