HyperLink Failure

Greetings,

Just started to use Publisher 2002 to design a web page. Out of the box with
all updates added - I've found out that there is a problem with hyperlinks
working. Two tech docs - #296823 & #311760 from Microsoft identify the
problem as real and recommend workarounds. For some reason I can't get them
to work as described.

I did find a nasty way of making it work by editing the actual web page from
IE - 'copy and paste' to the page in the .pub document.

Has anyone found a better way?

I cover such topics at my site. The FAQ page is a good place to start.
Instead of filled text boxes I recommend creating graphics separately.
For external files I recommend they be uploaded separately and prior to the
pub site.
