Hyperlink field

I have a form text box linking to a hyperlink field. After setting up the
field it is all fine, I can right click and add and edit links. But if i
close the system and reopen it the hyperlink field only displays the Add to
favourites option on the right click.

I have 2 versions of this system, one which I have keft all the menu options
and toolbars available and this one works fine. However it is the user
version that is causing me grief. This version I have turned off the
navigation pane if that has anything to do with it?

Hi Judith, sorry I cant add a complete solution, I presume you are using
Access 2007, I have looked on all the Menu options but cant find anything
which may be causing your problem.

The reason for post.

Try using the fully open database (The one with no locks on menus), Add one
restriction at a time and try the result. Repeat this until you replicate the
problem which should narrow down your problem to a single change in the
restrictions.

Yes it is 2007 and it does seem to keep throwing up these new challenges!

I found that it was the removal of full menus that was blocking the use of
the hyperlink field. Managed to get round it by adding the Insert Hyperlink
onto the shortcut toolbar so the user can use this to add references to work
around the right click being blocked.
