When creating a hyperlink within the body of an Outlook 2000 email message
(Word is the editor, composing in either Rich Text or HTML), the Insert
Hyperlink dialog box displays the Text to Display: as G:\Transfer\Steve. But
when OK is clicked, the hyperlink appears as \\fs2\data\Transfer\Steve (the
name of the network drive where the file is located). Recipients always like
to see the file path name as the former rather than the latter. Our Outlook
2003 users don't have this issue. Any thoughts on a solution? It would be a
pain to manally change this each time a hyperlink is sent out. Thanks.
