You might Try an Outlook Express news group. This group supports Microsoft
Outlook - partly similar in name only.

That's because your IE is not your default browser. You probably had another
internet browser and uninstalled it before making your IE as default.

Go to your IE > Tools> Internet Options > Programs Tab and click on "Make
Default".

It should work now.

Many of us prefer to use another browser as our default, rather than IE, and
do not consider resetting IE as the default a satisfactory "solution." I was
having the same problem in Outlook 2007, using Firefox as my default browser.

SOLUTION: Open Firefox browser before clicking links in Outlook. Maybe this
will work with Outlook Express.

I agree with you.
The problem in this case is that users who have 2 browsers and IE is not the
default one, somehow unistall the other browser without setting the IE as
deault first.

That's why they'd not be able to open the URL links sent through emails.
