Hyperlink if found

I want to set the hyperlink to a pdf file if it finds the file in a folder.

In my form I will have a QuoteID number. That same number with the .pdf
ending will be placed in a static folder on my network. I want the HyperLink
to be created if it finds the pdf file.

Can this be done? If so can you offer an example?
