Hyperlink in Word 2002 (Office XP) is not working any longer

After installing firefox 0.9.1 on my computer the hyperlinks in Microsoft
Word XP are not working any longer. The message "http://www.livenet.ch/
konnte nicht geöffnet werden. Der Internetserver oder Proxy konnte nicht
gefunden werden." (http://www.livenet.ch/ could not be opened. The internet
server or proxy cannot be found.) :(

In Outlook Express the hyperlinks are working.

Everything was working fine with MS Internet Explorer (I thought, but may be
wrong. It can be a general problem in hypylings in Word. Word patches are up
to date). I failed in finding help in the technical databases. Who can help?
