On one computer in our organization, hyperlinks in Word 2003 will not
work. Hyperlinks to external web pages can be created, however Ctrl +
Click does not work. Hyperlinks in the document will work when the
document is open on another computer. Things we have tried:
Uninstalled Office XP (hyperlinks stopped working in this version)
Installed Office 2003
Deleted Normal.dot from user's Microsoft\Templates folder
Verified using Start - Run, url that a default browser is set - it is
FireFox 1.5.0.1
Verified that clicking a url from the email client works (we are using
Eudora 6.x)
This computer does have a lot of desktop publishing applications -
Adobe, Newsletter Ease, etc. I'm thinking one of these applications is
interfering with Word. We are using Windows XP SP2 and have IE 6.x
installed.
Any suggestions or things to try would be appreciated.
