hi all,
i have two forms. the data in those two forms use different data sources
to submit and retrive data. i did "extract all the files" from form1(both the
forms are saven in wwwroot directory). i tried to open form1 from from2 using
a hyperlink. the link look something like this: "
http://localhost/foldername/template.xml". where the template.xml is the xml
file for form1 and foldername is the folder in which i extracted all the
files of form1. when i try to open form1 from form2 using that hyperlink, i
get the following message:
"insufficient security privilege
this form cannot be oebed because it requests domain security level and is
only allowed restricted security level. based on the information in the form,
the file should be located at
file:///C:\inetpub\wwwroot\foldername\manifest.xsf in order to open with the
correct security level"

some body pl help regarding this.

thnx and reg

I am having a similar issue. Since using the hyperlink to open the form
works for some users, but not for others in our domain, i believe the problem
is linked to a Internet Options setting. However, i am not sure which one.
It appears our list of Intranet and trusted sites are identical, however i
can open the form while a co-worker cannot. wtf?

Any ideas?

hi richie,
i have discovered a solotion for this prob. you are right. it has got
something to do with IE. in IE go to TOOLS -> INTERNET OPTIONS -> CLICK ON
CUSTOM LEVEL BUTTON FOR INTERNET -> IN THE SECURITY SETTINGS WINDOW, UNDER
MISCELLANEOUS SECTION, THERE IS AN OPTION " ACCESS DATA SOURCES ACROSS THE
DOMAIN". CKECK EAITHER ENABLE OR PROMPT". that's it. u got it.
hope this helps. anything else u are free to mail me at " (e-mail address removed) ".

regards
eswar
