Hello all,
I am in the process of creating a network diagram and have hyperlinks to the
web interfaces of our switches. Strangest thing though is happening, the
hyperlink is simply the dns host name I created for the web page and on a
particular model of switch the hyperlink appears to be wrong that Visio is
loading and I cannot see why.
For example...
the hyperlinks I have simply point to this: http://<switch_dns_nanme>
but when I click on it, I can see visio loading this:
http://<switch_dns_name>/config/logoff.htm
Even looking at the hyperlink properties through the "Show Shapesheet"
option does not reveal why this different link is getting loaded.
The older model of switch I have does not exhibit this problem. If I start
Internet Explorer manually and go to the same starting link, of course it
works fine.
I am running Visio 2003 Professional SP1. Any thoughts are greatly
appreciated at this stage.
Miike.
