In office 97 I created a document in which I inserted
hyperlinks that go out to my network drive and open
specific documents linked through the hyperlink. The path
looks like this:
\\PPSB2\PRDOCS\CCRRCA\R03-0003.DOC
With Office XP I am constantly having difficulties with
the same document using the hyperlink. Now when I save
the document and return to it, all of my hyperlinks have
been converted to this:
.../../PRDOCS/CCRRCA/R04-0002.DOC
This is extremely frustrating. Does anyone know if there
is some way to make this hyperlink act like it did in
Office 97? Is there maybe a switch somewhere that I don't
know about or is this another example of Microsoft
excellence?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
