Using Windows XP SP 3
In a Word 2003 doc file, I have a hyperlink of the form
file:///C:\Folder/Picture.jpg.
When I click on the link, Internet Explorer opens the jpg file.
The default opener for jpg files is Picture Manager, i.e. when I
double-click a jpg file name in Windows Explorer, Picture Manager opens the
file.
Is there a way to bypass Internet Explorer, and have Picture Manager open
the file targeted in the doc's hyperlink?
