I am making a network map and would like to be able to view the map and then click on
a server and run remote desktop on that server. Anyway to format a hyperlink to do that?

tried it, ran into the problem that MSTSC (the terminal services client)
doesn't like being called via the hyperlink mechanism. Although you can do
it with a telnet command.

do you mean the remote desktop client for server 2003?
How did you do the hyperlink?

You are saying that you can call telnet prompt from a hyperlink?

I was attempting to use the terminal services client (it fails before you
get out of the box so the platform aimed at didn't matter). The trick for
using telnet is to have a custom property with the ipaddress of the target
device and then point the hyperlink at telnet while appending the custom
property name (shpCell.FormulaU = """TELNET:""&Prop.Ipaddress")
