hyperlink to outlook ?

when inputting a hyperlink, is there a way to bypass a person's
default email (just say if it was Lotus Notes) and force Outlook to
open when they click on an email link to an email address?

I got the following from help in Outlook 2007 perhaps that is what you
are looking for?

/m emailname
Provides a way for the user to add an e-mail name to the item. Only
works in conjunction with the /c command-line parameter.

Example:

Outlook.exe /c ipm.note /m emailname
