I recently upgraded to Vista and Office 2007. With Office 2003, I was able
to hyperlink to a specific page in another Word doc (e.g., filename.doc#2 <--
will take you to the top of page 2). But, Word 2007 will jump to the first
instance of the number "2" in the document, instead of the top of page 2.
Bookmarks still work (e.g., filename.doc#bookmark), but it is a hassle to
create a bunch of bookmarks all the time.
I also noticed the same problem with PowerPoint 2007, because any hyperlinks
to a PowerPoint document will jump to the top of the document, instead of a
specific slide number (e.g., filename.pptx#2 <-- will take you to slide 1,
instead of slide 2).
Is this a bug?
