I am trying to Insert a Hyperlink to a template
document. I can't do that without opening the template
(.dot) itself instead of a copy. So I found on the
Microsoft site that I can Workaround that problem but
when I try to do as they say, which is to create a
shortcut to the template and then manually type the path
to the shortcut in the Hyperlink dialog box, and then I
try to click on the hyperlink I inserted I get the
following box:
Microsoft Office Word - Opening "C:\documents and
settings\......\shortcut to letebl.dot.lnk"
Hyperlinks can be harmful to your computer and data. To
protect your computer, click only those hyperlinks from
trusted sources. Do you want to continue?
When I click Yes, nothing happens and the box
disappears. I just can't seem to insert this hyperlink.
Can you help?
