Using 2007 I have created 3 presentations and a Title Slide with links to
those presentations. I keep getting a security warning when I click on the
link and when I click on the link I get the message "No program registered to
open this file". When I try to create a bookmark to the first slide of one of
the presentations I get: Certain file formats, such as XML, do not support
bookmarks so you cannot create a hyperlink to a bookmark in a file that does
not support bookmarks. You can either hyperlink to the file without any
bookmarks, or change the file format so you can insert bookmarks into and
hyperlink to the bookmark.
The file extensions are .pptx and I have tried changing them to .ppt and
..pps. I didn't have this problem with 2003 and used this feature all the
time.
