Hyperlink won't open

I am unable to open a link in Word, Excel or Powerpoint.
With no browser open the URL is clicked on and
application states "Word is preparing to open ...".
Error message comes up "Error opening page".

I have tried different setting in IE, and Office
applications.

Additionally, I have ZoneAlarm and PopUp Stopper both of
which I have disabled and still nothing works.


Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
