Hyperlink

I am a weather hobbyist using excel, and find it very useful, and more time
saving than Appleworks spreadsheets. I use Camino as my default browser,
which by the way is very good. The problem I have is linking to web pages,
excel will only use IE for bringing up bookmarks and history, and since I
don¹t use it anymore, and Microsoft has given up on it, I guess eventually
for PC users also, it has become a time consuming problem. Has anyone
figured a way to link through other browsers, or am I stuck with it?
Appleworks will link right up with no problem, but you can¹t beat the tab
feature in excel, which is perfect for what I do. One other thing, even if
I use the bookmarks in IE, the page I link to will come up on the Camino
browser. Sure would appreciate any help in this matter, thank you.

Strange behavior indeed. This is not the way it should be, of course. If I
look in the source of you doc. It seems you are using the version 10.0.0 of
Office. If this is right, I'd strongly suggest that you get an apply the
update in order to run the version 10.1.7:
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx#OfficeX

Then repair permissions (with the Disk Utility provided with Mac OS X) and
see if the problem still happens. If it does, maybe you could try deleting
the preferences files (in the ~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft folder) But I
think it won't be necessary.
