I have an MSWord document (Office 2003) that has a URL as its hyperlinkbase
set in the document properties. The document has a hyperlink that is relative
to the hyperlinkbase. When I try to access the document via a Web
application, the document opens up in a Word viewer, but the hyperlinkbase is
missing in the document, and a link to the temporary internet folder on the
client computer is used instead. Of course, the linked document is not in the
temporary internet folder, so following the hyperlink shows a missing file
error message.
The document shows up properly with the hyperlinkbase set and the link valid
when I try to open it on the web site with the MSWord program.
I would appreciate any suggestions to make my hyperlinkbase work via the web
viewer as it works in the desktop MSWord program.
