I often copy bits of text from one place in OneNote (where I have copied
the full text of an article) to another place (where I am building up an
outline to summarize all my secondary research in preparation for writing
a paper.) I like to make those small quotes into hyperlinks that refer
back to the full text of the article. This helps me keep track of where
everything came from so I can write my citations later. However, in order
to do this I have to go back and forth between the two pages in OneNote
twice. Once to copy the quote and once to copy and paste the hyperlink.
So here is my suggestion:
If I have text selected and right-click on it, give me the option of
copying the text with the hyperlink to the paragraph that contains the
text. Call it "Copy text with hyperlink." Then, when I paste the text
into my outline it will already have the hyperlink built in.
