hyperlinking from excel to word

Hi...I am trying to insert a hyperlink into an excel
document that will link to a bookmarked place in a word
document. I have Office 2000. I can link to the Word
document itself, but not to the specific bookmarked
place. I get an error that says Excel could not open the
specified file. What can I do?

I hit ctrl-k to insert the hyperlink and pointed at:

c:/word/testdoc.doc#testbkmk

And it opened up right at the bookmark. (I did type in the #testbkmk, though.)
