Hyperlinking into specific worksheet within an Excel File

How do I create a hyperlink into a specific worksheet within an Excel file? I
tried using a (#) bookmark referencing the tab name, but each time the Excel
file opens it enters into the worksheet where the file was saved.

Save the pages as web pages (.htm or .html) and hyperlink directly to the
page that way.

Create a named range in the Excel sheet you want to open
(in cell A1 or any cell you want to go to)
- In sheet 5 create a named range as say "startsheet5"
Then link it as a bookmark using the named range
workbookname.XLS#startsheet5

I have tried naming a range in cell A1, but each time it will open to the
last page the file was saved at.
