hyperlinking other documents in a word file

If I need to copy my word document to the other user, but
the path should be different. Can I change the hyperlink
path automatically?

Also, can I change the color of the selected hyperlink?

If you link to a file within the same folder, MS Word will
automatically use a relative hyperlink. This means that you can copy
the files to a different location, and--as long as the files stay in
the same folder--you won't need to update the link.

You can also change the color of hyperlinks through the built-in
styles. Both the Hyperlink and FollowedHyperlink styles can be set
through the Format>Styles and Formatting menu option.

Hi Noel,

Word 2000:
change the style definition.

1) Format/Styles
2) Choose "FollowedHyperlink" from the list
3) Click "Modify"
4) If you want to have this change made for all NEW
documents, activate the checkbox about saving to template
5) Click "Format", choose "Font" and change the color in
the dialog box
6) OK, OK, Close
