hyperlinking to templates

Hi, I am trying to hyperlink within an excel document to
launch a word template. If i just put the path of the
file when you click on the link the actual template opens
rather than a new file each time. Is there some sort of
command that i can put in the link so that it opens a new
file rather than the original template? Any help, via
email would be much appreciated.

Hi Tess,

Well there is a simple work around for this issue. You just need to create
a New Word document and specify the path, so when you click on the
hyperlink you would be able to open new Word Document.

I have been linking to the documents in this way,
defining the path that points to the document that I want
which is fine except when the hyperlink is clicked on it
opens the actual template file rather that opening a new
document based on that template.
