Hyperlinking

In PowerPoint 2003 or 2007, when I hyperlink to another PPT file, I get the
warning dialog message box "Some files may contain viruses.." and I must
click OK.

The second file I'm hyperlinking to opens, but it opens in presentation
view, not
slideshow mode. I must re-activate slideshow mode. This happens no matter
how many files I hyperlink to.

My company has disabled autoplay, does this have anything to do with this?
