hyperlinks and bookmarks

I am trying to create a hyperlink in publisher that goes to a bookmark in a
word document, however each time I click on the bookmark button from the
insert hyperlink window I get the following error "microsoft publisher 2002
could not open this file or could not parse a file of this type" I have been
able to do this successfully from a word document but not from publisher. I
tried to add "# and then the bookmark name" immediatly following the address
instead of pressing the bookmark button however I get the same error. The
only thing I have found to work is to open the actual html and add the "# and
then the bookmark name" inside the link however this isn't practical since it
has to be done after every publish. Does anyone have any ideas??

Thank you very much that worked! I ended up grabbing the code from the html
so i knew what to enter. is there a trick to change the font and to see the
location of the hyperlink (it places it by default int he upper left hand
corner and i would like it to be centered in the box?

You do have to code it yourself but do not edit the html file.
The proper procedure is to use the html code fragment dialog.

the "trick" would only be in knowing basic html in order to modify the code
snippet with desired formatting, starting with the font tag. I refer you to
www.htmlgoodies.com for tutorials and examples for getting some basic html
knowledge.
