Hyperlinks and protected workbooks

I’ve created a summary workbook which is hyperlinked to other workbooks in
which I’ve hidden the calculations. Now when I try to use the hyperlink I get
“Cannot open the specified fileâ€

Any ideas on how to get around this?

How did you fix it. I've been fighting a hyperlink problem for a month now.
Every piece of information I come across gets me one step closer!
