Hyperlinks are not working when I openproject on Windows computer.

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I've been having a problem with the hyperlinks in powerpoint when trying to open and click on a windows computer using Microsoft Office 2003. The links work fine on my computer they all link to the slides they're suppose to but, when I try to open the presentation on a windows computer (Vista and XP) the links turn into an image and are no longer text nor are they clickable.

Does anyone have any idea on what needs to be done?

I am trying to create a table of contents with about 20 links to different sections of the powerpoint.
